Important: We are crossing the border, so please have the documents with you that you usually carry for border crossing between Germany and Austria.

This route contains section with grade B via ferrata. Therefore, helmet is necessary, and if you are a beginner, then via ferrata set is also needed.

We will likely do the route in opposite direction, but we will make an exact decision tomorrow.

Public Transport: We will take regional train from Munich starting at 6:32 am. From Garmisch, we take the replacement bus to Reutte in Tirol, and finally from there take bus 120 to Nesselwangle west, which is the start point of the hike.

Return connection from Musau: 16:50, 17:50, 18:50, 20:50 (slow), ...

Technical difficulty: The hike has T4 difficulty, and it also contains grade B via ferrata sections. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T4.

We will have lunch at one of the huts.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket + possibly for the food/drink at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Sunscreen
• Helmet (mandatory)
• via ferrata set (mandatory for beginners)
• Some tolerance for cloudy and rainy/snowy weather
• (optional) ideas/resources to play some game during the train ride back to Munich :)

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
