Description

Anyone up for a hopefully sunny Saturday hike? :)

Will have a casual hike to Wank and hope to arrive back in Munich in the early evening. 

Disclaimer: I am not an official tour guide and you are responsible for your own safety.  Please dress hiking appropriate and bring enough food and water for the day, and cash for the ticket.

Hiking boots/shoes required. 


Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours.




Good to know

Meet at 7:00 am at Munich HBF at the entry to the platform for RB6-> Garmisch.  Train leaves at 7:32 am. 

Please be on time and do not join if you are unsure whether you will make it or not. No shows will be marked. Cost of Bayern tickets will be split between participants.

Hi Ladies! I am glad you are joining, but please note that this is a level T3 hike. :) we will hike at a casual pace, but please check though that you have the basic skills for this type of mountain hike: https://www.hiking-buddies.com/blog/2018/07/02/sac-hiking-scale/

Hi, you can save a few Euros by buying a Werdenfels ticket rather than a Bayern Ticket. It’s valid on the S-Bahn and trains between Munich and Garmisch/Reutte/Kochel/Mittenwald.
