Description

Meeting time: Saturday 18.09.2021, 08:10

Meeting point: Munich Hbf, platform 34

This is a medium hike, no beginners.

We'll take the train at 08:30 to Schliersee.

There is currently a promotion called Abo-Upgrade, where you can register yourself if you have an MVV subscription to use public transport for free: Deutschland Abo-Upgrade (besserweiter.de)

Both BRB and RVO are included according to the list: Teilnahmebedingungen des Aktionsangebots Deutschland-Abo-Upgrade (besserweiter.de)

We're already 2 people using this, so if you also have it, feel free to use it, too. People not having the upgrade-ticket should manage to buy a Bayern-Ticket for themselves on their own.

The hike is from Schliersee to Spitzingsee and the route is considered easy to medium, see here: Auf den Spuren ... - BERGFEX - Wanderung - Tour Bayern.

Depending on what time we arrive at Spitzingsee, we can either have a drink there and take the Bus back to Schliersee; or if we arrive early enough, there is a Bus at 16:00 from Spitzingsee via Moni-Alm to Tegernsee, where we could have dinner.

The we'll take the train back to Munich either from Schliersee or Tegernsee.

Things to bring:

  • Hiking boots and proper clothes for hiking
  • Cash for train tickets and the food in the hut
  • At least 2L of water and some food for the way
  • Sun protection as well as rain jacket (just in case)
  • face mask for the train
  • 3G certificate (could be checked in restaurant)

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance if you don't want to come. You can't unjoin it when it's starting in less than 12 hours.
