Description
Lets have some fun by hiking together to Gamsjoch 2452m !
If you plan to spend a full day with us, take three (3) minutes to study the description:
WHO IS WELCOME TO JOIN
Buddies fullfiling following criteria are welcome
1) Points >1200 & at least 2 hikes over 1100hm elevation gain and T3 SAC scale this sommer, no 'noshows'
2) Ability to comfortably keep 400hm/h pace on the steep ascent (we will do the opposite of what the map shows)
3) Commited to join after pressing the join button
4) Fulfilling the requirements related to Covid19 and to border crossing to Austria
5) English speaking
SCHEDULE
We will take the train to Lengries and Bus 9569 to Eng Alm (extra costs)
Expect to start the hike at 09:20
Last buses are 16.25, 17.30, 18.35
We will probably have dinner either at the Eng alm https://www.engalm.at/ or in Lenggries
Good to know
This hike is not suitable for beginners. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

@Ioannis, any chance to be a part of the hike? I personally haven't joined hikes through the HBM site (yet), but as for the requirement #1, I've climbed up Zugspitze(with a few Hiking Buddies present on that hike) and Alpspitze within the last month (and also in general hiked quite a few over 1100hm gain). Also, totally comfortable with doing any pace on any terrain :D

I fully understand, but if I start to make big exceptions, what about another 8 people that I told them not to join and they also had their arguments? Then I would need to get rid of this rule alltogether. I do it sometimes, I will do it again in the future but my experiences are mixed. As you are a mountaineer, you know that in the mountains there should be rules. So i hope you find a new-joiners friendly hike, as i did when i started in the group, got points and reviews step by step,and see you around
