Not for beginners
Please read all the sections below carefully and completely!
Meeting point is in front of platform 28 of München HBF by 08:15. We will travel on a Bayern Ticket (group ticket).You can pay either by cash (please bring coins) or paypal.me/atenghe (working PayPal account associated with a bank account required).
Late unjoining
I've noticed that some people join hikes "just in case" to secure a place when they are not sure of participating. To me, that's not the spirit of a group hike, where everyone needs to be able to depend on each other. So please only join if you are sure you will participate.
I've created a WhatsApps group for the event, please join through the link below for easier communication. Incase the link doesn't work, send me a message with your number, and I'll add you.
If you're not in the WhatsApps group a day before the event I'll remove you from the list.

Good to know
Equipment
The following is a list of recommended equipment without any guarantee for completeness:
· Proper hiking boots
· Head lamp
· First aid kid
· Water (2l)
· Hiking poles
· Waterproofs (jacket, trousers, bag cover)
· Gaiters
· Warmth
· Hat and gloves
· Sun glasses and sun cream
· ID Card/ passport
· Phone (for emergency calls)
· Map (digital or print out of the route)

Note:
Please be aware that you are not able to withdraw from the hike later than 12h before the starting time. Please be fair and give your spot to other hikers if you are not able to come. Hiking includes a certain risk and everybody is responsible for their own safety. It is highly recommended having some kind of insurance in case of an incident.

Hiking Buddies Munich is not a group of professional mountain guides but individuals gathering for sport activities.
