Intermediate hike for experienced hiking buddies (not suitable for beginners)

Let's take the opportunity and enjoy a beautiful sunny day in the mountains. We will catch a train to Griesen (Oberbay) at 8:32 and hike up the Friederspitz (2,049 m). The route is technically easy yet demanding with its elevation gain and distance, estimated time without any break is around six hours. We will aim to catch a train back to Munich at 17:40 from the same stop.

If you would like to join the hike, please send a message with your brief introduction and your hiking experience to m.me/marketa.md or on Whatsapp +49 1628544826 (obligatory; I do not receive any messages sent via hiking buddies website for some reason) to make sure the whole group is on a similar level; who fails to do so may be removed from the event. People with no-shows are not welcomed.

The route may change due to current conditions, and the hike may be cancelled shall the weather change.

Good to know

1/ Come to Hbf, platform 28 by 8:15 (you may join in Pasing shall it be more convenient for you),

2/ Have cash ready for a Werdenfels ticket (15 EUR),

3/ Wear suitable hiking shoes and clothes,

4/ Have enough water and food (there is no hut),

5/ DAV membership is highly recommended,

6/ Must comply with corona regulation,

7/ Good mood and motivation for a hike!
