Gamsjoch 2452m in Austria :)

-if raining will be cancelled (tbd on Friday by 7pm)

Who is welcome to join:

1. T3 scale or above hikes this summer
2. Ability to hold moderate pace 
3. 3Gs to cross border to Austria 
4. English speaking, friendly HBs 
5. Apparently the first km is not well marked, so navigation skills helpful 😊🥾

Schedule:

• We will meet at 06:45 and take the 7:04 train  to Lengries (Gl 27-36) followed by the Bus 9569 to Eng Alm (extra costs-possible group ticket 6.50 each)
• Expect to start the hike at 09:20
• Last buses are at 16.25, 17.30, 18.35

We will have food/drinks at the Eng alm at the end of the hike https://www.engalm.at/

Hiking is potentially dangerous. Understand and accept the risks involved before participating. You are responsible for your actions and decision. This hike is not suitable for beginners. I am not a mountain guide. 

Please bring:

• hiking boots / trail runners
• proper hiking clothing (not accepting anybody with Jeans and / or Sneakers)
• Waterproof jacket 
• hiking poles if you have
• food & snacks
• Water (I’d recommend at least 2 L)
• some cash for bus and train tickets
• charged phone with downloaded route (my number is 015223789260)
• first aid supplies
• DAV insurance highly recommended 
• Plus whatever else you need :)
