Description
Doing this rout with a friend of mine who is familiar with this rout.
The weather looks ok at the moment. But we need to decide again based on weather conditions until Friday.
Join only if you are fit, have done a Via Ferrata previously.
Speed:- We will go as a group. absolutely no hurry :) :D ... but yeah we need to be sure of coming back down before dark... ha ha ha :D
Once the group is full and final, will create a WhatsApp group and share more information.

So we will take the Bergbahn to the Rosshütte which will take about 15minutes. The start point of the Via Ferrata is at a distance of 30 minutes from this station. The Via Ferrata will take 2.5 hours (with buffer time 3 hours). Then the hike back to the Parking lot will take 2 hours. In total the whole tour might take 7 hours including resting time and lunch.
Good to know
***NOT FOR BEGINNERS***.
Good Shoes (with very good grip) and Klettersteig equipment (Helmet, Belt, KS-Set, gloves) absolutely necessary.
Enough Water, minimum 3-4 liters.
Energy rich food/snacks. :D
Rain Jacket, warm Jacket.

Hi Praveen, I am interested in this event, I have done climbing in India quite a few times. But unfortunately I don't have any Klettersteig equipment except gloves. Can you please suggest. Thank you

Hi Amit, do you know how much portion is level C? I have done 1 hike with via Ferrata A/B & a small hike with via Ferrata B/C. But i might need some support for portion on level C as my height is only 150 cm and i am not that expert in via Ferrata.

Hey Amit Mishra, Tilman is right. This is different. Level C is not that easy 😊. Please think about it and let me know. Also if you are still interested please message me as to what kind of hikes you’ve done. Because for this particular hike the exposed surfaces are pretty dangerous 😊.

Hello Amit Mishra, please note how this is a Klettersteig Trip, not a climbing event (Similar safety considerations, completely different technique). If you have not done a via ferrata, this tour in this group is definitely not for you. We are collecting interested people for another beginners tour, probably end of october, soon. If you are interested, let Praveen or me know so I can put you on my list.

Hi, the organizer has blocked me from the event!! Why? Because he said the Hike is not for beginners! the question is How do you know I am beginner? A more polite way is to ask question before do so!

Hamed Ghadirian, I am more than happy to answer this question: You are a beginner as long as you lare acking the experience of how to get yourself out of an unpleasant or dangerous situation in a via ferrata. If you are not a beginner, then you surely can teach us a thing or two and it would be greatly appreciated to learn from a knowledgable person but then, you would not have to join this group because you can go on your own..So my question is, Why do you want to join this group? Can you tell us how many HM (Höhenmeter) you can do per hour? Which Via Ferrata have you done in the past ? Looking forward to hearing your anwers

Hamed - I just forgot: Be advised that the organiser of the tour decides who can tag along and who cant- Praveen already mentioned how this is not a hike, its more of a climb along a steel rope and compared to a hike, the risk increases exponentially. If I would be the organiser, I would not take any people on board that I dont know. If you cannot answer the above question( see my previous post), feel free to PM me on Facebook and I will put you on the list for a beginners tour in late october.

Hamed, don't be pissed when it's about safety, please :)
Organising an event takes already a fair amount of time, it's understandable if the organiser prefers not to take someone in case of doubts, rather than maybe calling an helicopter a few days later.
