Important info: Read the below info before joining the hike!

1. This hike is NOT for beginners (Again, not for beginners!!) and only for regular hikers!. You should have done multiple T3 hikes at a reliable pace in order to join the hike (I will be checking your HBM profile. If it is empty, message me via HBM)

2. I would like to keep the pace of the hike around 400 m gain per hour.

3. You need to have sturdy hiking shoes with good grip since it is kinda T4 at the peak and it will be SLIPPERY due to the rain aftermath!

4. Re-read the points 1-3 once again before joining the hike. Do not join the hike just to drop out around 12 hours before the hike (not a good practice. Or else you shall get a nice review from me :D ). 


Hike with amazing views at the peak with a hut and waterfall during the descent? Brecherspitz is the peak - organising this Saturday :)

We will be going to the peak first, then the hut during the descent and later the waterfalls. I seriously don't know when we will be returning after the hike but I would like to catch the return train at 5:20 pm  (6:20 pm at the latest).


Good to know

1. Proper hiking shoes with good grip (mandatory)

2. Hiking attire (including jacket if you don't want to freeze at the top) (mandatory)

3. Hiking poles (recommended)

4. Cash (at least 15 euros. extra needed if you want to have some drinks or food at the hut) (mandatory).

5. Water (at least 1 L)

6. Food (please carry some since I don't want anyone to be hungry till we reach the hut. We will be stopping at the hut at least for 30 minutes.)

7. Gloves (if you get cold fingers easily like me)

8. DAV insurance (recommended)

9. Suncreen

10. Medications if any


Disclaimer: I am not a professional hiker or so. So you will be hiking with me at your own risks (as far as now, no one was injured during my hikes - except for wearing improper hiking footwear and getting blisters). Well, there are helicopters for rescue but be prepared to shell out 3000 euros for that if you don't have DAV insurance

Just a few more comments: 1) People without a HBM profile picture - upload one as it will be useful for recognising you at the station. 2) The meeting time is 8:15 am. Even if the person is a minute late, they need to by their own ticket at full price.

Update: we will be taking the train BRB RB55 towards Bayrischzell. Therefore, be at time at 8:15 am or even before.

Just a reminder: Tomorrow hike to Brecherspitz Meeting point - Muenchen HbF platform 27-36 (I don't know the exact platform) (I will be waiting there in front of one of the platforms. I will be wearing a purple/magenta jacket.) Meeting time: before or at 8:15 AM

Guys, the train RB 55 towards Bayrischzell departs from platform 34 in Munich HbF at 8:30 am. To those guys who can't catch the 8:30 am train, try catching the next possible train and catch up with the group during the hike (unfortunately, we can't wait )
