People with no profile photo are not welcome! I'll remove you from the event if you don't have one.

People with no show not welcome.

NOT for beginners. (Again, not a begginers hike! )


Who is welcome to join:

  1. T3 scale or above hikes this summer. You should have done multiple T3 hikes or above at a reliable pace in order to join the hike.

  2. Ability to hold moderate pace, we will go at a steady pace, and not wait for long!

  3. You need to have sturdy waterproof hiking boots with good grip! 

  4. It looks like there might be snow and sleet at the top, and it will be slippery. I recommend bringing along spikes and gaiters (better prepared than sorry)

  5. English speaking, friendly HBs

Late unjoining

I've noticed that some people join hikes "just in case" to secure a place when they are not sure of participating. To me, that's not the spirit of a group hike, where everyone needs to be able to depend on each other. So please only join if you are sure you will participate.

Schedule:

Meeting point is in front of platform 10 of München HBF by 08:45. Train departs at 8:56 and hope to return by 19:00h. We will travel on a Bayern Ticket (group ticket). I've created a WhatsApps group for the event for easier communication.

Please send me a message and your number after joining so I can add you to the WhatsApp group.

We will buy the Bayern ticket online a day before the hike, by planning in the communication group.

If you're not in the WhatsApps group a day before the event you'll have to buy your own ticket, also, I'll remove you from the hike if there are people in the waiting list.

Good to know

Equipment:

The following is a list of recommended equipment without any guarantee for completeness:

·      Proper hiking boots

·      Head lamp

·      First aid kid

·      Water (2l)

·      Hiking poles

·      Waterproofs (jacket, trousers, bag cover)

·      Gaiters

·      Warmth

·      Hat and gloves

·      Sun glasses and sun cream

·      ID Card/ passport

·      Phone (for emergency calls)

·      Map (digital or print out of the route)

.      A good smile :)

Note:

Please be aware that you are not able to withdraw from the hike later than 12h before the starting time. Please be fair and give your spot to other hikers if you are not able to come.  Hiking includes a certain risk and everybody is responsible for their own safety. It is highly recommended having some kind of insurance in case of an incident.

Please read the description properly and only join if you have the necessary experience!
