Important info: Read the entire description before joining the hike!
1. This hike is NOT for beginners (Again, not for beginners!!) and only for regular hikers who have also done hiking in winter!!. You should have done multiple T3 hikes at a reliable pace in order to join the hike (I will be checking your HBM profile. If it is empty, message me via HBM immediately after joining the hike. If not, I shall remove you from the participant list within 6 hours)
2. Hike participants joining the hike from "outside Munich" -> message me immediately after joining the hike so that I can increase the participants count.
3. I would like to keep the pace of the hike around 400 m gain per hour.
4. You need to have sturdy waterproof hiking shoes with good grip! It has been currently snowing in Bayrischzell region. Also certain regions are rocky -> it will be slippery!
5. Re-read the points 1-4 once again before joining the hike. Do not join the hike just to drop out around 12 hours before the hike (not a good practice. Or else you shall get a nice review from me :D ).

Partial winter wonderland (if there is snow left :p) hike to Grosser and kleiner Traithen. Certain regions near the peak are T3 (secured with ropes in most cases) and rocky - it will be slippery!! There will be a change in the ascent route if there is heavy snow (hopefully not but still I shall keep you guys updated on it). There is a hotel - Berggasthaus Waller Alm on the descent route. We can stop there for a quick cake/drink break if wanted during the descent (around 3-4 PM)
Meeting stats:
Place: Munich Hbf platform 34

Ticket: Bayern ticket - will be bought by the organiser a.k.a me (only if you guys are on time)
Train: RB 55 towards Bayrischzell. Train departure time from Munich: 8:32 am
Since it takes two hours of train travel, I would like to catch the 5:32 PM return train back to Munich (6:32 PM return train at the latest)
Frequently asked questions :D
1)Have you done this route earlier/previously?
Answer: Nope. That's why I want to try hiking this route now.
2) Can I directly join you on the train when it departs?
Answer: No. Please don't do that (never do that). It just makes me anxious. Please be at the platform on or before the mentioned time.
3) Hey, it's unfair for giving me a no-show since I did not join the hike (but I mentioned that I joined the hike "accidentally" and some other reason etc). How can you give me one? Grow up.
Answer: If you are joining the hike (without reading the description etc) and drop out at the eleventh hour = no show

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. So you will be hiking with me at your own risks (as far as now, no one was injured during my hikes - except for wearing improper hiking footwear and getting blisters). Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies. I am not responsible for you if anything happens to you. Well, there are helicopters for rescue but be prepared to shell out 3000 euros for that if you don't have DAV insurance
