This is a very easy beginner-friendly afternoon hike/walk near Ammersee. However, I would like to keep a brisk/quick pace (walking) in order to make it back to Ammersee lakefront for the sunset. The weather is supposed to be quite warm and sunny, so this is a short afternoon hike to relax on a nice fall day. You will need trainers or hiking shoes and some water (as well as cash for drinks/snacks if you would like). Herrsching is within the MVV network so anyone with a pass that includes this zone can take the S8 freely. If you do not have a pass, you will need to purchase your own ticket. The S8 departs Munich Hbf at 15:25, as long as it is on time it will arrive in Herrsching at 16:15 and we will leave immediately. 

I do not intend to stop at Kloster Andechs. The idea is to make it back to the lakefront for the sunset and we can get drinks or food there. Unfortunately, this means that a long stop at the Kloster is not possible, we can take a short break for water and some photos.
