Description
Hello everyone,
this is an event to go on the Wank on Sunday (supposedly 6 degress warmer than on Saturday on the top).
The idea is to take the RB at 8:29 from platform 28 to Farchant and go the route in the direction Farchant - Wank - Garmisch.
We will meet in front of the platform 28 at 8:10.
So far I am not planning to stay at a hut, but we can decide based on the mood.
I will create a WhatsApp group for detailed planning and easier communication and send you the invitation link.
Things to bring:
- Proof of vaccination, recovery or negative test
- hiking shoes
- food and water
- mask for train
- warm clothing
- rain jacket
- cash for train ticket (or by paypal)
- good energy
Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
Disclaimer: I am not a guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit for emergencies. Please prepare as if you were hiking alone.

Hi Michael, what kind of pace are you planning? I am recovering from a sprain and cannot do a fast pace right now (I’ve done other hikes of this distance and elevation though but since I am recovering I cannot go as fast as before!). I would be grateful to understand this before signing up. Thanks!

Hey Deborah! I'm also recovering from months of sickness and would prefer a slower pace, because of that, and also Anaemia!! I'm on the waiting list at the moment, but we can do a group with slower pace?

Hi Zahra, I would like that but I already signed up to a different hike a few days ago so I can’t do tomorrow now. Maybe next weekend if conditions allow. Would that work for you?
