Description
Hi I am suggesting an easy hike on Saturday at Oberammergau. The peak is at 1279m and slightly covered in snow. The hiking routes could be covered in snow so please bring spikes. We can extend the hike to Steckenberg and add 100hm ascent. Please refer to the route here: https://www.hiking-buddies.com/routes/routes_list/819/

I will descent with the cable car but you can choose to hike down as well.
Please note: I will travel with car to the location so you will have to organize your own public transport. But from munich it takes only 1h47m to get to Oberaummergau station, which is 5 minutes away from the starting point. You can get the Bayernticket or Regio-Ticket Werdenfels and easily travel there. Good to know
- flashlight (due to seasons it will get darker sooner and we could need it on the way back)
- Hiking boots
- snow spikes or crampons (It would be good to have them for some icy sections although the route Is not a steep one)
- Water
- Appropriate clothes for a winter hike
