Description

We will do this route at a steady pace but not slow , we will go into Unterammargau for a beer or two and food after the hike  and if we find a open hut along the way a stop there too but we need to be aware of it getting darker sooner. We now know there be snow and ice in place - please ensure you are properly equipped to deal with all potential conditions

please don’t expect to be back in Munich too early as we plan to relax and have a beer / food at the end

please bring a good mood , humour and good stories - please leave no trace on the trail.

Important …

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tour, is always risky; sometimes, it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description in toto, look into the route details, and make it familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike on their own. If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else!

People with no information on their profiles will be filtered out automatically.

It's a nice route. You have to be careful on the Sonnenbergrat as the path finding might be difficult due to fresh snow, also it might be slippery.

path won't probably be the problem but since it's north sided you will definitely have some snowy and icy parts - also partly exposed. keep that in mind and have the right equipment :)
