The route looks to me, like it should be doable with a touring bike. What do you think? I have done plenty of gravel riding with this bicycle already, and the gravel road up to Kolbensattelhuette seems of quite good quality. As far as I can see there is only a very short section after Kolbensattelhuette on the route which is marked as a trail, so I'm not worrying about that.

Just to manage expectations. We might adapt the route to skip uphill. Saw too much snow today.
