For intermediate hikers with winter equipment (no beginners nor speed hikers)


Let's hike to the beatiful snowy Wallberg on Sunday. We will catch a 7:31 train from Hbf to Tegernsee, due to disruptions in MVV you may join either at Hbf or Harras. From Tegernsee we will continue by bus to Wallbergbahn station where we start our hike. We may add another peak, Setzberg, or take a cable car down if we feel like that.

Experienced hiking buddies are welcomed to join, should be used to hikes around 1,000 m elevation gain. Winter equipment like crampons is obligatory. If you would like to join the hike and we have not hiked together yet, send me a message on whatsapp (1628544826) with your brief introduction. People with no-shows will be removed from the event.

Good to know

1. Come to Hbf or Harras on time,

2. Bring cash for a group ticket (up to 15 EUR),

3. Wear suitable clothes and hiking boots--it will be around 0°C,

4. Have equipment for winter hikes, crampons are obligatory,

5. Have enough to eat and drink,

6. DAV membership or similar is highly recommended,

7. Good mood for a nice hike.
