Description
Sunday hike with a magnificent view of the Alps!
Technical difficulty: This hike is graded as accessible/medium(T2), and we will have a pace of around 400.
Things to bring:
- winter hiking shoes;
- winter clothes
- spikes;
- gaiters;
- headlamp;
- food and water(2 liters) - we will stop to eat and drink something at Wendelsteinhaus;
- mask FFP2;
- good energy.
Optional:
- hiking poles;
- sunglasses;
- rain jacket;
- first aid kit.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.
Good to know
We will meet at 7:15 in front of platform 9 to have time to buy the tickets. The train will leave at 7:43. The price for the ticket is between 12 and 15 Euros and after 7:30 you have to buy your own ticket!
The trip by train will be almost one hour, so our tour will start around 9:00. I expect to be back in Munich around 20:00.

IMPORTANT: Please check your status on the main/waiting list, the day before the hike, to confirm your participation. Please announce 12 hours before the hike if you are not able to attend. If you have on your account a NO SHOW review in the last year DO NOT JOIN. Also, if you do not come on the hike, you will get a NO SHOW review and you won't be able to attend any of my hikes in the future. Thanks for understanding.

Hi Everyone, would like to raise a question on how things work on people participation. is it considered or allowed to join the pack if somebody is still in the waiting list. so suppose if i am in waiting list till saturday night. can i still come and join the hike? since this is done using public transportaion, ticketing and all should not be an issue. @cosmin let me know your thoughts ?thanks.

Hi Wassim, for the security of the group, the maxim number of participants is 10, so the people on the waiting list can not join the event. Thanks for understanding.
