Description

This is a 3G event + FFP2 mask - you must be fully vaccinated or recovered or recent PCR-Test to join.

This is a relatively easy hike and is suitable for beginners.

We will be moving at a moderate pace (no speed hiking or running).

The train leaves at 8:00 am from platform 32.

We will take the Bayern Ticket which I will purchase Saturday morning. If you are not present when the ticket is purchased, you will need to buy your own.

These trains fill up quickly, so the earlier we get on, the higher our chances of having seats together.

Please bring enough food and water for the hike. At the end of the hike, we could go to Hut to drink something and eat great food (optional).

Things to bring:

  • proof of vaccination or recovery or test
  • hiking shoes
  • food and water (at least 1.5 liters)
  • FFP2 mask for train
  • warm clothing
  • cash for a train ticket (10-15 € depending on total number) You must bring cash or Paypal me! Most huts also only accept cash
  • good energy and a good mood
  • dry socks
  • spikes optional

    Optional:

      • rain jacket
      • hiking poles

Disclaimer: I am not a guide. Everybody is responsible for themself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit for emergencies. Please prepare as if you were hiking alone. Due to limited daylight hours, you must have a headlamp in case of emergency or delays.

Hey Ramin, I hope you are doing well. FYI, the Taubensteinbahn, which goes from the bus stop to the starting point of the hike, is closed for the winter.

I would like to kindly ask for everyone who is 100% sure that they will join to send me a message or write it here in the comments so that I can buy the bayern ticket because I'll be buying it beforehand to come from my town to Munich. Thanks a lot!

Ramin, I would like to hike to the same place and come (by car) to Spitzing Taubensteinbahn. Would you mind me joining your group at 09:15-09:20? I don't know where the bus stops there, so, the meeting point could be right below the building of Taubensteinbahn Talstation: https://goo.gl/maps/VuYwwkgaktCgZPFg9 .
