How to join:

FIRST you send me a message with inquiry to join and your experience if it not obvious from your reviews and history, then i reply yes/no, then you paypal a prepayment for car costs (if i dont know you) and only THEN you press the join button. 

The pace will be 450hm-500hm per hour with the goal to have time for a restaurant  (or hut) at the end.  If you are not into restaurants please don't join since i cannot guarantee we will find a hut open (didnt have time to research yet)

We will go by a rented car and split costs, expect something between 15-20 Euros.

Thanks to Marco for the route. It should be a very beautiful one :)


Good to know
You will need winter gear and endurance for the length and the considerable gain (1500hm).
Headlamp, first aid kit, food, water, spikes, gamashes should be self-explanatory

We will go into Austria - inform yourself about the regulations regarding Covid.
Independently of these regulations , this is a 2G compliant event

Hiking Buddies Munich is not a group of professional mountain guides. Each

participant is responsible for him / herself and has to be prepared and bring suitable equipment.

I can offer one more car. I can hike in winter to some extent if we are fast. Would hiking poles and crampons suffice? Would we need snow shoes, gaiters, ice axe, rope, ice pick?
