Hey everyone,
Let´s do one of my favorite hikes on Saturday.
The
hike has medium difficulty, but some scrambling is involved and some snow & ice, will make the hike more difficult. There are some exposed sections on the hike towards the end with ropes & cables. So please only
join if you are well capable of at least T3 hikes and used to hike in
snowy/icy/slippery conditions.
Take whatever you need to pass the border to Austria according to the latest Corona Rules & Guidelines.
Please bring the following:
- Proper Hiking boots (Waterproof)
- Cash for gas (or Mobile Phone + a Paypal Account)
- Proper Winter or rain jacket
- Charged mobile phone (for emergency calls)
- Something to drink & eat to survive 6 hours of hiking (I recommend at least 2 Liters of water)
- Gaiters (recommended)
- Hiking/Trekking Poles (recommended)
- Grödel (highly recommended)
- First Aid (recommended)
- Headlight (Recommended, just in any case)
- Passport (ID)
- Mask
The
hike is planned for 5-5 hours. There are no huts along the way, so please bring enough food and water for the entire hike.
8:15 is the meeting time at Harras. We should reach the start of the hike at around 9:45.
I
have a car with Maximum 7 seats but I would only occupy 4-5 seats. More
drivers are happy to join but I would keep the group size to max 10
ppl.
Regards,
Ben
