Description
Early hike to Alpspix - lots of snow included!
Technical difficulty: This hike is graded as accessible/medium(T2), and we will have a pace of around 350-400(winter conditions).
Things to bring:
- winter hiking shoes;
- winter clothes
- spikes;
- gaiters;
- headlamp;
- food and water(2 liters) - after the hike, we will stop to eat something together;
- mask FFP2;
- good energy.
Optional:
- hiking poles;
- snowshoes;
- protective/sun glasses;
- first aid kit.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.
Good to know
IMPORTANT: All participants must respect Corona regulations.
We will meet at 6:45 in front of platform 31 to have time to buy the tickets. The train will leave at 7:13. The price for the ticket is between 12 and 15 Euros and after 7:00 you have to buy your own ticket!
The trip by train will be almost one hour, so our tour will start around 8:30.
I expect to be back in Munich around 20:00.

IMPORTANT: Please check your status on the main/waiting list, the day before the hike, to confirm your participation. Please announce 12 hours before the hike if you are not able to attend. If you have on your account a NO SHOW review in the last year DO NOT JOIN. Also, if you do not come on the hike, you will get a NO SHOW review and you won't be able to attend any of my hikes in the future. Thanks for understanding.

Hi Cosmin, I'd like to share an pdate on current conditions as we saw them on Friday 3rd Dec: lots of fresh snow on/around Osterfelderkopf. Expect difficulties covering distance on the non-groomed areas if you're not on skis/snowboard. Avalanche danger is considerable (level 3)
