Description

Some HB friends and I will be doing one last hike for the year and we would like to get a group together. We meet at Harras and get a ticket together. It's not a tough hike but make sure you bring the winter equipment.

If the sled rental in spitzingsee is open we can also rent a sled and only go to Rotwand and sled back down to spitzingsee.


Good to know

I) hiking shoes

Ii) Hiking poles (not mandatory, but it always better to have them), head lamp

iIi) Enough water for the whole day.

iv) Snacks and or food. We're not planning on stopping at huts

v) Proper clothes for hiking

vi) A good mood

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. 

If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing

Does sending message works on this app? I sent message to organiser of the hike but neither I received a copy of it nor reply so I think the organiser has also not received it. I am new here so I am just curious to know if we need to comment for every query or we could also use message when query is not of concern for everyone. By the way, I will start from Holzkirchen, may I know the name and number of planned train from Harras so that I could get on the same train at Holzkirchen?

I just missed the Ubahn I'll be there 9:05 please just find yourselves and wait at the blue machine...don't buy a ticket some people are already bringing one
