Description

Start the new year with a smile on your face! How? ... Friends and fireworks!

Technical difficulty: This hike is graded as accessible/medium, and I would like to have a relaxed pace, around 350.

Carpool explanations: on the event page is posted the starting time for the whole event, not when you should meet your driver. Look at your driver's description for the meeting point and meeting time.

⇨ Explanations for PASSENGERS IN MY CAR: We meet at 20:30 in front of DM in Giesing Bahnhof(S3, S7, U2).

⇨ Explanations for PASSENGERS IN ANOTHER CAR: Meeting time and place are indicated by the drivers or on the carpool page of this event.

Things to bring:

Worm clothes;

Winter hiking shoes;

Spikes and gaiters;

Water(1 liter);

Mask FFP2;

Good energy.

Optional:

Trekking/hiking poles;

Snowshoes;

First aid kit.

IMPORTANT: All participants must respect Corona regulations!

All cars meet at 21h30 at Riederstein Parkplatz.

@Drivers: please set 20h30 as your meeting time in Munich, to make sure you're on time at the parking.

@Passengers: BE ON TIME, consider a margin of 15 minutes in case of some public transportation delay. Better be at the car 5 minutes earlier than making the group waiting for you during 15mn.

Good memories from a couple years ago :) Don't underestimate the cold! You'll probably be staying up there without moving for a while, it's gonna feel much colder than when you're actually hiking.

Hey! Just read that there are some firecracker restrictions across Bavaria and especially Munich. Let's hope we get to see them.

Hey, I would love to join, but i have an almost 9 year old girl. Would it be okay if we both come? In the car would be 3 free seats available. Though we are living near Starnberg, it wouldn't be a problem to pick up some people from Münich. Thank you for your answer! :)
