General information
Weather: Night, clear sky, 0°
Route: The ascent will have T3 sections, descent is T2. Path covered with snow at least 50% of the time.
Required gear: Headlamp, hiking shoes with good grip. Microspikes mandatory (click here for an example). If you have, you can also bring crampons / steigeisen, but that is not mandatory (click here for an example).
Pace / fitness level: We will keep a pace of at least 500m gain / hour uphill. Walking that distance & gain in snow requires you to have a good fitness level ( = doing cardio sports on a weekly basis). You need to be fast downhill.
Transportation: This is a carpool event, see explanations below. I have a car but other drivers are welcome to add theirs. You're free to join by public transports on your own if there is a way to do so, in which case you can add a "fake" car via the carpool button.

FAQ
You need to differentiate 1/ the time and place you will meet with the car you are joining (driver & other passengers). This info is accessible via the Carpool button. And 2/ the time and place at the parking / starting point of the hike. That info is at the top of this page, but mostly relevant to drivers.
If you see a Carpool button on this page, it means this event is carpool event. If you somehow find a way to join by public transports, you're free to do so, but make sure to be on the parking / starting point at the indicated time on the top of this page. In order to join a carpool event by public transports, click on the Carpool button, and add a "fake car" with no seat available.
