A fast hike from Gmund to Neureuth


We will enjoy a nice winter day in the mountains, taking a BRB train from Harras at 9:33 to Gmund and walking up to Neureuth in a rather fast pace (=> you shall be fit enough) where we will have lunch with the beautiful view over the Tegernsee region. We will return from Tegernsee station in early afternoon.


Winter equipment such as spikes is mandatory. The route may be adapted during the hike.

Good to know

1. Send me a message on whatsapp 01628544826 with a short intro (I do not receive messages sent via HB),

2. Come to Harras stop before 9:25; should it be more convenient for you, feel free to start the trip from Hbf,

3. Have cash ready for a BRB ticket, approx. 8-13 EUR,

4. Have suitable winter clothes and shoes, spikes are mandatory, gaitors recommended,

5. DAV membership or similar is mandatory,

6. Comply with corona regulations, this is a 2G hike,

7. Bring enough water and food,

8. Good mood.
