Description

This is a 3G event - you must be:

  • fully vaccinated or recovered
  • have a certified recent, 24 hours, Corona Test(Antigen/Fast Test) or corona Booster-shot vaccination certificate which is a minimum of 14 days old.
  • Please be aware and bring your documents accordingly.

Im Zug gilt bundesweit 3G-Regel.

This is a relatively easy hike and is suitable for beginners.

We will be moving at a moderate pace (no speed hiking or running).

The train leaves at 7:30 am. Please be at the station before 7:10. I will buy the ticket 15 minutes before departure for the present people.

We will take the Ticket (we may not need a Bayern Ticket) which I will purchase Saturday morning. If you are not present when the ticket is purchased, you will need to buy your own.

These trains fill up quickly, so the earlier we get on, the higher our chances of having seats together.

Please bring enough food and water for the hike. At the end of the hike, we could go to Tegernsee Bräustüberl to drink something(optional).

Things to bring:

  • proof of vaccination or recovery
  • hiking shoes
  • food and water (at least 1.5 liters)
  • mask for train
  • warm clothing
  • cash for a train ticket (11-16 euros depending on total number) You must bring cash! Most huts also only accept cash
  • good energy and good fitness
  • Spikes
  • rain jacket
  • hiking poles (it is likely going to be muddy)

Disclaimer: I am not a guide. Everybody is responsible for themself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit for emergencies. Please prepare as if you were hiking alone. Due to limited daylight hours, you must have a headlamp in case of emergency or delays.

Good to know
  • We Take the train at 7:30 and arrive there at 8:40 and begin the hike.
  • It is a roughly 6:45 hours hike, including 3x15 minutes breaks in between.
  • We should be done by 15:30.
  • We could take 1 hours break at the end and drink something (optional)
  • Every 30 minutes there is going to be a train for München.
  • Text me in case of emergency at 004917684290177!

Hi, I wanted to ask if I could have the Bayern Ticket after we arrived back in Munich please? I would like to go directly to visit my family and use the existing ticket for this. Thanks.

Good morning I'll be arriving directly at our train at 7.25. Unfortunately I can't earlier. I don't need a group ticket, btw.
