Meeting time:  Sunday 30 January, 07:45 ; HBf Platform 30

We buy Bayern group ticket and catch the train towards Kochel  at 7:59

please inform in advance if you are not planning to join

Things to bring:

  • Cash for the ticket
  • Waterproof hiking boot
  • gaiters
  • spikes
  • spare socks
  • Passport/Id
  • Food/drinks for the way
  • Raincoat/winter clothes
  • set up .gpx route in gpx viewing app (like openstreetmaps, komoot, GPX viewer etc.)
  • See corona regulations - 2g

Disclaimer: 

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. 

If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost.

If the waiting list still has at least 5 people till Saturday Afternoon then I will increase the max participants to 15. It could be tricky with more people and we have to maintain distance while hiking on the higher slope(>30 deg) region.

change of path - we didn’t cross the ridge coming from hiemgarden. Instead we went back and took another route to Ohlstadt which was slowly decending and took longer time(2+ hrs)
