Description
No beginners, there will be snow so bring the right equipment
Meeting time: Sunday 6 February, 07:45 ; HBf Platform 32
We buy Bayern group ticket and catch the train towards Gmund(Tegernsee) at 8:03
please inform in advance if you are not planning to join
Things to bring:
- Cash/Paypal for the ticket
- Waterproof hiking boot/ snow shoes
- gaiters
- spikes
- spare socks
- Passport/Id
- Food/drinks for the way
- Raincoat/winter clothes
- set up .gpx route in gpx viewing app (like openstreetmaps, komoot, GPX viewer etc.)
- See corona regulations

Disclaimer:
Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost.

unfortunately i cannot take more than 10 as the first half of the hike is pretty sloppy. i would not risk as it can very much create conditions of avalanche. There could be wet avalanche or the avalance with weak snowpack layer on the bottom. also we will be walking on the ridge and there could be cornice which is even more dangerous with more people on the hike

path change - after reaching the ridge near Grubereck we took way towards Setzberg. After reaching wallberghaus we skipped the wallberg peak as it was getting late. About sledging in wallberg - you can only rent the sledge from down Wallbergbahn talstaion. Not possible to rent Sledge from Wallberhause
