Wiiiiiiiii!!! 

We take the train at 07:30. I buy a ticket at 7:20.

I am very determined at sledding this weekend, so if Wallberg Rodelbahn will be closed I will change the route to another sledding destination :D Maybe Brecherspitz.


You must be ok with renting a sledge at the starting point, the whole group sledge down. 

We have to walk up carrying the sledge. You should be fit enough. Pace intermediate.

Please don't expect to be in Munich on time, things happen :)

Renting sledge is 7euro.


Plan:

07h10: Meeting at Hauptbahnhof, platform 33

07h20: I buy a group ticket - Bayern Ticket, which should cover the bus as well. (need to check)

07h30: Train 86955

08h39: Arrival at Tegernsee

08h45: Bus 9550 (Pertisau Karwendellift, Österreich) until Wallbergbahn

09h05: Arrival at the starting point, we rent the sledge

10:00: We start hiking, we have to walk up carrying the sledge

13:00: Peak & group selfie + lunch at the hut

14:30: Sledge down

(if there's time we could get a cable car and have another ride down)

17:17: Bus back to Tegernsee (or 16h17)

17h52: Train to Munich (or 16h52)

18h54: Munich HBF (or 17h54)

What to bring:

  • warm gloves
  • ID
  • 2G proof
  • glasses or ski goggles (helpful for sledge activities)
  • flashlight
  • hiking boots
  • gaiters
  • spikes
  • water
  • food & snacks
  • money for the train ticket & hut & renting sledge
  • appropriate clothes for a winter hike

don't forget spikes and gaiters guys! otherwise way up will be very painful
