Important: We are going to cross the border between Germany and Austria, so please bring your passport or other documents which you usually carry on border crossing.

Public transport: We will take RE4871 departing at 7:13 am, which will arrive Reutte in Tyrol at 9:28 am. This is the start and end point of our hike.

Departure time of return connection: 16:57 (2h29m), 17:07 (2h52m), 18:57 (2h29m)

Technical difficulty: Apart from a very small part near the peak (which is T3+), the rest of the hike has difficulty T2/T3 (mostly T2 though). Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T2/T3. Due to snow, the route will feel more exhausting.

We may stop at Duerrenbergalm for a late lunch. However, this will come during descent, so bring enough food/drink for the whole day to avoid starvation/dehydration.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket (11 - 16 Euro), and for the food at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Warm clothes
• Gaiters (required)
• Spikes (recommended)
• Headlight (just in case)
• Some tolerance for snowy and rainy weather

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
