Description

Be sure to read route details and study the trail before joining

  • It’ll be medium pace (350 - 400 hm/h), be sure you can keep up.
  • It’s gonna be cold with snow, bring proper winter gear.
  • All should respect Corona Regulations.
  • Bring enough to eat and drink, we won’t be stopping at huts.

Schedule

  • Meeting point is in front of platform 34 of München Hbf by 08:20.
  • Train departs at 08:30 and arrives at 09:44
  • We'll aim to be back by 18h.
  • We’ll travel on a Bayern Ticket (group ticket).

There’s a WhatsApp group for the event for easier communication and coordination.

We will buy the Group ticket online on Saturday evening, by planning in the group.

Note:

Please be aware that you are not able to withdraw from the hike later than 12h before the starting time. Please be fair and give your spot to other hikers if you are not able to come.

Equipment:

The following is a list of recommended equipment without any guarantee for completeness:

· Proper hiking boots (sneakers not allowed)

· Head lamp

· First aid kid

· Water (2l)

· Hiking poles

· Waterproofs (jacket, trousers, bag cover)

. Spikes

· Gaiters

· Warmth

· Hat and gloves

· Sun glasses and sun cream

· ID Card/ passport

· Phone

· Map (download the GPX map)

. Insurance (DAV membership reccomended)

. A good mood :)

Hiking Buddies Munich is not a group of professional mountain guides but individuals gathering for sport activities.
