Description

In case anyone spontaneously has a day off work or is on Semesterferien like me, we'll be heading for a chill day hiking to Aueralm for lunch. As long as the weather isn't too bad we will also go up to Fockenstein.

Taking the 9.04 BRB train from Hauptbahnhof to Gmund then the bus to Bad Wiessee, no fixed plan for return time so can be arranged.

What to bring

  • Hiking boots
  • Waterproofs (think we're due some rain sadly!)
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Money for lunch
  • Mask and Covid pass etc.
  • Spikes
  • Warm layers
  • Phone (+ potentially spare battery, ideally with map downloaded)

I’ll be buying a Bayern ticket (online) in the morning so aim to be there by 8:45 to get on the ticket! :)
