Description

Be sure to read route details and study the trail before joining

  • It’ll be medium pace (350 - 400 hm/h), be sure you can keep up
  • All should respect Corona Regulations
  • Bring enough to eat and drink, we’ll have lunch at the summit, should the weather not cooperate, we’ll figure out where to have lunch along the way

Schedule

  • Meeting point is in front of platform 34 of München Hbf by 08:20
  • Train departs at 08:30 and arrives at 09:39
  • Well aim to take the return bus plus train at 17:07h / 17:38 / 18:07
  • We’ll travel on a Bayern Ticket (group ticket)

Note:

Please be aware that you are not able to withdraw from the hike later than 12h before the starting time. Please be fair and give your spot to other hikers if you are not able to come.

Equipment:

The following is a list of recommended equipment without any guarantee for completeness:

· Proper hiking boots (ideally waterproof)

· Head lamp

· First aid kid

· Water (2l)

· Hiking poles

· Waterproofs (jacket, trousers, bag cover)

. Spikes

· Gaiters

· Warm hat and gloves

· Sun glasses and sun cream

· ID Card/ passport

· Phone

· Map (download the GPX route)

. Insurance (DAV membership recommended)

. A good mood :)

Hi all, have you already bought your Bayern tickets? A friend and I are going to Baumgartenschneid and could join a Bayern ticket to save money (though we are getting the 9 o’clock train if anyone is willing to go slightly later and hike with us!) No problem if you’ve already bought!
