Dear hiking buddies,

let´s go back to beautiful Berchtesgadenerland!
We cross first Wimbachklamm. Officially it is closed in winter time but I found online several reports from people that crossed it with snow and ice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-6Hh-Iurco

(Worst case we have alternative routes.)
We then reach a beautiful panoramic point called Archenkanzel that gives us the possibility to look over Obersee till Funtenseetauern and Sankt. Bartholomä. Finally we head to Grünstein that has the best view of King Watzmann. From here we go down till Schönau am Königsee.
About 16 km along one of the nicest routes in Bayern with the best views of beautiful Watzmann mountain and his wife and sons :) .
To do this you must love mountains, be equipped, reasonably fit and experienced with winter hikes and last but not least ready to wake up early and travel long since Berchtesgaden is far away but it is really worthy to go!! :)

Hiking Buddies Munich is not a group of professional mountain guides.
Each participant is responsible for him / herself and has to be prepared and bring suitable equipment.
