Hallo Zusammen,

This is a beginner-friendly hike simply to get acquainted to the trekking conditions as an Ausländer. I have trekked in the Lesser Himalayas and Sahyadris of India and now would like to start trekking in the Alps.

We will buy the Bayern group ticket and catch the RB6 (5413)Innsbruck Hbf at 8:30 a.m.

Please Note: I am not a professional guide. Everybody is responsible for him/her/themself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map (it can be found on this page) and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

Good to know

Things to do:

  • Carry Cash or Paypal for the ticket.
  • Wear waterproof hiking boots.
  • Carry spare socks
  • Have a Passport/Id
  • Bring Water and snacks/lunch - we can rest at a good spot for this on the way.
  • Raincoat (optional)
  • set up .gpx route in gpx viewing app (like komoot, GPX viewer etc.)
  • See corona regulations

We will be meeting at around 8.15 am near the ticket machine of Gleis 21, München Hbf just to make the meeting point easier to identify. As per the latest update we would have to take the RB60(5512)Pfronten-Stein which departs at around 8:30, so try to make it at least 5 minutes before the meeting time! The Partnachklamm also has a nominal entry fee of 5 EUR, so please be informed about it. :) Hope we have a great hike tomorrow! VG Ash
