Description
Not beginner-friendly
Meeting time: Saturday 23rd April, 07:35 ; HBf Platform 27
We buy the bayern ticket and catch the train towards Buchloe - Kempten(Allgäu)Hbf - Pfronten-Steinach at 7:54
Things to bring:
- Cash/Paypal for the ticket
- Waterproof hiking boot/ snow shoes
- gaiters
- spikes/crampons
- spare socks
- Passport/Id
- Food/drinks for the way
- Raincoat/winter clothes
- set up .gpx route in gpx viewing app (like openstreetmaps, komoot, GPX viewer etc.)
- See corona regulations
Good to know
Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

FYI. there is a huge contrast in hiking pace among the participants.
Please Make sure you have a map with you. It would be good if people wait for others at the hut.
For beginners - please re-consider the difficulty of the hike.

Hi Lakshaya, I wasn't as slow as you say. Let it be my decision whether the hike is comfortable or uncomfortable for me. It's rude to block me without contacting me first.

The way from Pfronten to Bad Kissinger Hütte is a bit difficult. I would not suggest going up/down when the snow is hard(slope> 45deg)
