General information

Meeting point: Near the bench at the start of the trail https://maps.app.goo.gl/H3gcA5fxGHfBEjnu6

Starting time: Appears at the top of this page. We start walking at that time, meaning you must arrive earlier.

Pace / fitness level: The route is 320m of elevation gain, which we'll cover in maximum 30 minutes. If you're not sure you can keep up with that pace but still want to give it a try, you are welcome (but we will not slow down).

Weather: Sunny. 

Route: T2. Way up is steep and through the woods. Way down either via the main road with the lanterns, or via the stairs in the woods.

Transportation: You go to the starting point by your own means. A parking is available (not free). 

Note: On your profile, ideally add a picture of you and select the country you're from (not the one you're living in), to show how international the group is. :) 

Gear

Mandatory: Trail running shoes (ideally) or hiking shoes.

Important rules about Hiking Buddies

• You have until 12 hours before the start of the event to drop out from the hike.
• Participants not showing up will get a "NO-SHOW" flag on their profile, which decreases significantly your chances to be accepted on future hikes.
• The organizer is no professional guide, participants must be responsible for themselves (and that means to do some research about the routes and its potential dangers / tricky sections to know if you have the experience for it).
