Description

From Birkenstein parking place to Breitenstein and back

Start time : 9:30 

Back in Munich: 19:30

Transport: BRB Bayrischzell to Miesbach and then bus to Birkenstein,Fischbachau.

Important: meeting time is 9:10, anyone coming too late needs to buy their own tickets


We are quite dependent on the public transport, because there are not many Buses running on the way back. THE LAST BUS is at 17:40.


The hike is considered easy. About 800 elevation gain in 4hr gives us plenty of time. I would make the hike medium paced with plenty of opportunity to rest and enjoy the view. But since we have to make to the bus in time, we have to be attentive.

There is a hut on the way which we might stop over at only if we are otherwise fast on the route.
