That's an all-time classic tour from Schliersee to Tegernsee. Forecast is sunny for Saturday, so we might be able to catch a table at Neureuth Alm for a break and great views over Tegernsee


Please note, that this hike is beginner-friendly but still covers a medium distance. As snow might add to the effort, you should be fit enough for a couple of hours hiking.

Good to know

Conditions:

All day sunny weatherforecast. So bring a light pack including:

  • waterproof boots (snow might be wet), gaiters optional
  • snow shoes optional (I'll bring some for going ahead if neccessary)
  • proper clothing for mild winter conditions
  • snacks and water/ tea


Tour plan:

  • Meet 07:40 at top of platform 34, Munich HBF
  • We'll take BOB86857 at 08:03 to Schliersee
  • We'll arrive at Schliersee at 08:57 and start hiking
  • Potential breaks at Gindelalm (no service there) and Neureuth
  • Walk down to Tegernsee and take train back to Munich (potentially 14:52/ 15:52)


Costs:

  • BOB Ticket is around 11 EUR per person. Please bring cash
  • Cash is also advisable at Neureuth


Note: Please unjoin the event asap if you can't participate anymore. You can't drop out less than 12 hrs before the event starts! If you happen to be sick and have to cancel beyond those 12 hours, please drop me a message or leave a comment.
