A sceneric hike to the Muttsee (2501 m) - the highest reservoir in Europe.
Meeting point: Valley station Luftseilbahn Tierfehd Switzerland (805m) - NOT in Munich. I could not find any easy train travel route for coming there.
Relatively easier options: either you have car to come directly to the Valley station Luftseilbahn Tierfehd OR you can travel to Lindau by train using Bayern ticket and then we can go to this place in my car (cost to be shared@0.25 Euro/ km, can take 2 people with me).
Hike starts at: Gondola mountain station Kalktrittli (1860m). NOT a beginner hike!
Route: Gondola mountain station Kalktrittli (1860 m) - Muttseehütte (2501 m) - Limmernsee shore (1857 m) - Gondola mountain station Kalktrittli (1860 m)
Gondola ticket price: 15 CHF (return ticket)
Parking: Free
I am not a mountain guide, so please be aware that you join at your own risk.
