Description

We will meet at Munich Hbf in front of platform.9 at 7:40. We will buy the ticket together and take the train schedule like below,

Train BRB RE5: Munich Hbf to Freilassing

Train BRB S4:         Freilassing to Bayerisch Gmain

We will reach Bayerisch Gmain at 10:06 and start of hike at 10:10. 

Return based on our phase. (Possible return train we target from Bayerisch Gmain either at 16:53 / 17:53. Reach Munich Hbf by 19:06 / 20:06)

** Irrespective of route is mentioned as T2, elevation gain is very high. No beginner please, as this would be a problem for yourself. **

Please wear hiking boots. Also, please join only if you are highly motivated and sure to do hike on Saturday, except any unavoidable scenarios. Please bring enough water and food for the day.

I am not a mountain guide, so please be aware that you join at your own risk.

** As per current weather report, it will be a cloudy day. Incase of any change in weather forecast until Thursday/Friday, I will move the event to later date. Please bring also rain jacket**

** Please note that, there is a long travel time, incase if you are thinking to get back early. **


** kindly note that, it is not any financial gain event/interest. It is just a social based on people interest. Incase if any mistakes/typos, please ignore without any scrutiny, as I am not spending much time in review **

Good to know

I) hiking shoes and winter equipment

Ii) Hiking poles, head lamp

iIi) Enough water for the whole day.

iv) Snacks and or food.

v) Proper clothes for hiking

vi) A good mood

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarize themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. 

If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else

Please check weather condition and prepare your self. Also it is very important to note elevation gain we are going to make. If anyone want, I can increase number of participants. But it is very important that, please check yourself weather you have that much of elevation before. Going down path is steep and exposed. Incase of rain it might tricky if you have fear
