Hiking for beginners and intermediates (T3):

Pleasant hike from Eng to Lamsenjochhütte with stunning views at the foot of Lamsenspitze and lunch at the hut with excellent cooking. For this hike, you need regular hiking equipment, a good spirit and no car at all: This route is accessible via public transport from Munich to Lenggries and just the bus ride (Bus no. 9569 to Eng via Sylvensteinsee itself is a treat! Make sure to have a window seat in the bus, specifically once entering the Risstal and Ahornboden, an alpine agricultural landscape that has been reportedly around for more than 600 years. 

From Gasthof Eng, we are heading on a steep path to Binsalm (1st possible stop), we are going to head for Lamsenjochhütte (2nd stop) and have our lunch break there. The return path is similar to the uphill part, however the return route takes us to Engalmen (3rd possible stop) where we can shop for cheese or go for a coffee or a beer. 

Via Ferrata / Klettersteig for beginners (B/C = T6):

Some hiking buddies will continue from Lamsenjochhütte, tackling the Via Ferrata "Brudertunnel"  to experience an even better view from top, down onto the hut.
