Hi folks,
this is a nice and easy hike. The ascent is quite steep, but not difficult. I plan this tour without the Gschwendner Horn, so we will descend right after Immenstädter Horn. So it´s shorter an less elevation gain (11 km, 760 HM, 4:30 h). I´m hiking at a relatively slow pace. This is the real tour: https://www.outdooractive.com/de/route/wanderung/allgaeuer-alpen/auf-dem-immenstaedter-horn/100272723/
Please bring your own food and water for we won´t stop at a hut during the way. On the way back we will come along the Alpsee where there are lots of food stands including coffee, ice cream and so on. If the weather is nice we can even stop for a swim! So, bring your swim suits if you wish to. :-)
The weather forecasts shows that a thunderstorm in the afternoon is very likely. But with the early start and the relatively short hike, we should be safe. Better bring your rain gear, though.
Of course, everyone is responsable for him/herself and I am not a professional tour guide.
The meeting point is at Immenstadt for I will travel from Augsburg. There are good train connections from Munich, too and with the 9 € Ticket there is no need of grouping up for a train ticket.
I´m looking forward to meeting you.
