Description

Yes, it's a scenic tour BUT, it's not for beginners!! There is a Gratweg and a path through some thick bushes where you'll need great Trittsicherheit. Also, a small section is on a rocky path, where you'll need to scramble your way through.

The rest of the trail is T3.

If you haven't hiked with me before, please kindly drop me a message first before joining.

Note: if you don't have at least one T5 on your profile, please kindly describe your experience including a comment on your endurance when you write to me. Otherwise, for the benefit of the group hike, I'll have to remove you from the list.

Note2: Please make sure that you can attend on Sunday. You cannot exit the participation list 12 hours before the start of the trip. In case of No Shows, this will be marked on the review list. It takes time and effort to organise trips, plan, perform weather checks, pick people etc. - so, a no-show is a sign of disrespect to the organiser.

Good to know

We take the train from Muc HBf at 7:20am. You'll need the €9 ticket.

Train schedule: 07:20 depart from München Hbf Gl.27-36 ( RE 76 (7874)) direction  Oberstdorf.

We meet on Gleis 27 (closer to the trains where you can see all the platforms 27-36).


It's going to be hot:
Please bring lots of water (more than 3L please) and enough food for the day.
And any sun protection you may need.

A nice tour. I would suggest to check if the participants are comfortable with 2000m elevation gain and the extra distance from the train station to the starting point.
