Description
Lets use the 9 € Ticket and go by train to Füssen. There is an easy hike appr. 5 hours that takes us around the hills and lakes around Füssen and past the two famous castles Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. We won't have time to go in the castle though! On the way back we might stop at the Walderlebniszentrum Ziegelwies or take a meal or coffee in the historic center of Füssen.
Train leaves around 8 from platform 31 at Hbf.

There's a small beach at Alpsee that is almost on the way. So bring swimming gear if you like. There's also public toilets nearby to change clothes so you don't need to wear them on the hike.

Hi everyone, great to see that so many are joining tomorrow! Let's meet at the beginning of platform 31 at 7:50 for a quick meet and greet. Have your train tickets ready by then. If you own a mvg abo you don't have to pay anything. Otherwise the special 9€ ticket valid for the whole month of June will do the trick. Platform 31 is in a side wing of the Hbf I believe. So you need to walk a bit from the main hall there. Since the 9€ ticket is very attractive it might be crowded tomorrow. We might not be able to all sit together in the train. The train takes 2 hours, so bring something to read in case you get separated from the others. I limited the participant list to 10 to have a group that is not too difficult to hold together. If more of you want to come and do the tour it might be good for a second person to join the lead, get familiar with the route and lead a second group.
