A wonderful tour featuring views of Achensee and the Dalfazer waterfalls

Who can join:

At least 1000pts and pace 400hm-450hm

It is mostly a T2 with a small T4 section - If someone doesnt want to do the T4 section can wait for the others shortly before the peak. Depending on the pace we may choose to go to a nearer peak, since it is important to catch the bus. If we can keep the posted pace , this will be no problem.


On the way back we will drink a beer somewhere, probably at Tegernsee, so dont expect to be early back in Munich


Transportation details:

We take the train to Tegernsee and then the bus 9550 until Achenkirch Schwarzenau, Österreich

Arrival and start of the hike at 10:04

On the way back the only bus is at 17:31 from station Maurach Prälatenhaus, Österreich

One hour later we will be at Tegernsee where we will may stay for a beer or similar.


Good to know

Please bring:

  • Cash fo the bus
  • 9EUR ticket
  • ID (we cross borders)
  • Sunscreen
  • First aid kit
  • Food and Drinks for the whole day  
  • The rest you should know ;)

Dear all, some of you ask me about the weather. The forecasts are changing a lot. I will take a final decision tomorrow early morning. If the forecast will not improve until then, the hike will be postponed, probably for this Saturday.
