Description

Yes! Thrusday is a public holiday in Bavaria! Let's climb! 😁 

This event is a Via Ferrata event 🧗‍♂️ we are going to the Drachenwand  🐲 ! It's a C var C/D via ferrata.

The idea is to go by car to the and simply do it! 😉


Things to bring:

- Hiking shoes or approach shoes 

- Passport/Id

- Food/drinks for the whole day

- Hiking poles(optional) , head lamp, sunglasses

- Raincoat & hiking clothes

- Download.gpx file in advance and ready with import to your tracking app/’s. Example gpx viewer

- First Aid Kit

- Most importantly, a good mood 😊


I am not a mountain guide, so please be aware that you join at your own risk. 


This is not a beginner Via Ferrata. You should be comfortable with B/C or C level Via Ferratas to participate.

You should have a Via Ferrata set and know how to use it. 



Good to know

This event will be cancelled or postponed in case of bad weather.

We'll sync via WhatsApp group, you can contact me with my phone number described in the carpool. I'll increase the slots depending on numbers of cars.

The weather doesn't look super great https://www.wetter.com/wetter_aktuell/wettervorhersage/in-2-tagen/oesterreich/gries/AT11609410.html, let's see up until tomorrow, I may come up with a via ferrata plan B in that case.
