Description

Hike T3):

Hike from Eng to Lamsenjochhütte with stunning views at the foot of Lamsenspitze and lunch at the hut with excellent cooking.  This route is accessible via public transport from Munich to Lenggries and just the bus ride (Bus no. 9569 to Eng)

From Gasthof Eng, we are heading on a steep path to Binsalm (1st possible stop), we are going to head for Lamsenjochhütte (2nd stop) and have our lunch break there, then continue to the via ferrata route. 


Via Ferrata / Klettersteig (B/C =medium):

Will continue from Lamsenjochhütte, tackling the Via Ferrata "Brudertunnel"  to experience an even better view from top, down onto the hut.

If you are a beginner with no experience at all do NOT join.  I will only be accepting HB's with Via Ferrata experience and hikes posted on HBs.  Please write which level of via ferrata youve completed in the past to be accepted. You are going to receive an invitation to our whatsapp Group where we will share equipment requirements, timelines and the route.

-meet at 7:45 near the Gleis so we can board the train a little early (it'll be full)

-Train leaves Munich Hbf at 8:03 towards Lengriss (arrival 9:11) Gleis 27-36! 

Bus 9560 from Lengriss to Eng- leaves at 9:30am (arrive at 10:32)-The bus will cost an additional 6,80 on top of the 9 euro ticket 


Note: This hike isnt a race, short breaks for snacks/pictures are ok! :)

Ferrata B/C is not T6. Ferrata and SAC are completetly independent scales for different purposes. difficulty is T3 with medium B/C via ferrata.
