<p>Let’s make the most of the long weekend with a multiday hut tour through the beautiful Karwendel mountains. This follows the <a href="https://karwendel-hoehenweg.at/en/" target="_blank">Karwendel Höhenweg</a>, and includes via ferrata (D) and other technical sections.</p><p class="heading">Kit list</p>

<p class="heading">Accommodation</p><p>
We are staying at the huts named on <a href="https://karwendel-hoehenweg.at/en/" target="_blank">Karwendel Höhenweg</a>. Each person is responsible for their own bookings.<br></p><p class="heading">Transport</p>
<p>This is a carpool hike. Please see the carpool page for details. We will then take the train back from Scharnitz to Reith at the end.</p><p class="heading">Weather</p><p><a href="https://www.bergfex.de/sommer/schneizlreuth/wetter/prognose/" target="_blank">It looks like</a> it will be very sunny, with valley temperatures reaching 30º and overnight temperatures getting down to 8°C. There is a chance of rain, particularly towards the end of the hike.<br></p><p class="heading">Safety</p><p>Please observe all laws and guidelines for preventing the spread of coronavirus. I have created this event in order to find other people keen on walking in the mountains, but I am not a guide, and each member is responsible for their own safety.
